NOTE TO PARENTS

Tri-unity Elementary has experienced a wonderful year of academic opportunities, spiritual emphasis, physical activity, social and emotional growth.  A special thank you for all the hours you have poured into our students.  Blessings as you spend the summer together and enjoy your family time!              

               

ELEMENTARY SPRING PROGRAM

All students grades 3-6 will participate in this years presentation and should report to their assigned seating in the SXC no later than 6:40 p.m., May 15.   Dress is “Sunday Best”.  Crumbs Café will be open to purchase light refreshments.

 

PRESCHOOL REMINDERS

Enrollment continues for our 3 year old and 4 year old preschool classes.  Classes are filling up fast.  If you have any questions or would like an enrollment packet please call the elementary office at 530-6096.

 

ACSI MATH OLYMPIC WINNERS

Students who placed in our in-house Math Olympics went on to compete at the ACSI Math Olympics.  Many of our students place in the category of  ‘computation’ or ‘reasoning’.  First place winners were Valerie Wierenga (4th), Jaydon Lindeman (4th); second place: Lauren Elliott (3rd), Jessica Prins (6th); third place: Abbie Meines (6th); fourth place: Jonathan Buffum (3rd), Kyle nickels (5th).

 

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION

All our kindergartners will be presented with their diplomas on June 4 from 10:30-11:30 in the Sports Xchange.  Parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends are welcome to join us to celebrate this special event. Kindergartners will be dismissed following the Graduation program. PLEASE NOTE: Even though this is a Kindergarten day we’re asking you to have your kindergartner to the classroom by 10:00 (not 8:00).  Thank you!

 

FIELD DAY – JUNE 5, 2008

Mr. Mull, P.E. Teacher, Mrs. Flynn and Mrs. Hoskinson have spent weeks planning and organizing a fun filled Field Day for all DK-6th grade students.  Field Day will be held the morning of  Thursday, June 5 at the Elementary campus.  Parent volunteers are busily preparing, students are practicing and eager to begin.  A special Hot Lunch (Hot Dogs, Chips, Cookie) will be provide at no cost to all TCS Elementary students, staff, parent volunteers and visitors.  Make this a family event, bring picnic blankets, strollers and lots of sunscreen and enjoy the day with us!

 

CARNIVAL

Our third annual Carnival was held Friday, May 2.  A BIG thank you goes to Mrs. Amy Jo Duzan and Mrs. Amey Christensen for co-chairing this event and the many, many parents who served to make this evening a GREAT success.  Five hundred dollars of the carnival proceeds will be given for tuition assistance!  This is YOUR dollars working to help and support the TCS community!!!!!

WELCOME BACK PICNIC

On Thursday, August 28 from 5:30-8:45 p.m., the Elementary will be the site of our Welcome Back Picnic.  This evening is being underwritten. Please mark your calendar.  Our “All School Parent Orientation” meeting follows at 7:00 p.m. at each building. During our parent meeting students may visit their classrooms and meet their teacher.  More information will be mailed out in August.
