Academics

Tri-unity Christian School has a passion for excellence which is demonstrated by our 99%+ graduation rate along with 80%+ of our students going to college. Tri-unity students consistently perform above the average levels in MEAP, SAT and ACT testing.  Our focus is the delivery of an exceptional foundation in the preparation for life beyond high school.

Beginning in our preschool program and continuing through senior high school, TCS provides a strong core curriculum complimented by Art, Music, Technology, Physical Education and Spanish.

Tri-unity Christian offers excellence in our communication partnership with parents through Edline.  Edline is an online program, which provides up to date information on student activities, academic progress, special projects and events.  Each parent is given confidential access to their child’s records.

Mrs. Debra Blanker

Elementary Principal

This program continues building on the foundational philosophy of the Early Education Program recognizing the learner is developing into a more independent thinker with unique God given gifts.  As elementary educators, we seek opportunities to strengthen these gifts both academically and spiritually.

Academic needs are met through a strong core curriculum with a well-rounded compliment of specials.  Students requiring specialized support receive direct instruction through our special services department.

Middle School / High School Program

Mr. Tom Aldrich

Middle School/High School Principal

Middle School Program: Grades 7 and 8

This program builds upon the solid, biblically based academics of our elementary school and focuses on the unique academic, social and spiritual needs of young adolescents.  Middle school students begin the transition to this new stage of development by attending classes in several classrooms with different teachers.  In addition to core curriculum, which includes Basic Math, Pre-algebra, Civics, American History, Life and Earth Science, and Keyboarding, ‘middle-schoolers’ may also participate in electives such as Art, Praise and Worship Class and Drama.  Tri-unity Christian Middle School students also attend gender exclusive Bible and Spiritual LIFE Courses, which enable the teacher and students to address pertinent issues relevant to their academic and social development.  In addition, outreach and service projects are a key component of the learning experience, giving students opportunity to serve God in tangible ways.

High School Program: Grades 9 - 12

This program offers a strong, biblically integrated curriculum that prepares young people for a life of faith and learning.  The academic curriculum gives students the choice of a General Education Track, for those entering the workplace upon graduation or the Michigan Merit Curriculum Track, which is a college prep program aligned with the State of Michigan graduation requirements. In addition to the alignment with rigorous state standards, Tri-unity Christian also requires four years of rich, spirit-filled Bible and Spiritual LIFE Courses that are carefully designed to integrate faith and learning.  The high school program offers several AP (Advance Placement) courses to earn college credit as well as many online classes to round out a full offering of challenging courses.
